Message from the President
Dr. Addis Moore
Greetings in the spirit of unity and service,
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the Northside Ministerial Alliance. Our organization stands as a beacon of hope, collaboration, and transformation within the greater Kalamazoo community.
Rooted in our mission, “Leading Change in the Community Through the Unified Church” (John 17:21), we are committed to bringing together clergy, community leaders, and residents to foster meaningful relationships and address the pressing needs of those we serve. Through spiritual renewal, shared dialogue, and collective action, we strive to be a voice for justice, compassion, and progress.
Our vision, “A Community Living in Truth and Righteousness” (Zechariah 8:8), guides every initiative and partnership we pursue. Whether we are working alongside public schools, law enforcement, or other community organizations, our goal remains clear to strengthen families, uplift communities, and improve the quality of life for all.
We are grounded in values that shape our work and witness: Trust, Prayer, Change, Collaboration, Diversity, Empowerment, Innovation, Integrity, Reconciliation, and Unity. These are not just words, but principles that call us to action as we confront poverty, racism, and injustice with faith and determination.
I invite you to join us in this important work. Together, through a unified church and an engaged community, we can create lasting change and build a future rooted in truth, righteousness, and love.
Grace and peace,
Reverend Dr. Addis Moore
President, Northside Ministerial Alliance
